Phantogram – Voices

Phantogram Voices album coverPhantogram’s Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter kick off 2014 with their new full-length, Voices, which hit stores today.

In today’s fickle music scene, where bands can be fanned and faved one day and forgotten the next, the duo has stayed ahead of curve since its 2010 release, Eyelid Movies, by releasing two EPs that featured new material, Nightlife (2011) and Phantogram (2013).

The 11-track release, Voices, does not disappoint. It’s a pleasant mixture of Sarah’s ethereal vocals, electronic grooves, and sick drum beats with occasional samples woven in.  Stand out songs include the lead single “Fall in Love”, “Black Out Days,” “The Day You Died,” and “Bill Murray.”  (Yes, there is a song called “Bill Murray.”)

Phantogram is currently in the middle of a North American tour.  Visit phantogram.com or get social with them for all the latest news.
